A Social Media Strategy Centred Around Nostalgia
- Our social media strategy was aimed at highlighting remarkable stories about Chennai, from its people to its rich cultural heritage and history.
- We created curiosity around the event by sharing interesting and lesser-known facts about Chennai, sparking interest in the city’s long history and culture.
- Our posts included facts, trivia and games, encouraging followers to test and share their knowledge about the city.
- To amplify the hype around the event, we also created fun, immersive reels for Instagram, which raked in lots of views. This ranged from promo reels for the event to reels spotlighting stars who attended the event, including famed musician Yuvan Shankar Raja.
- We also organised a range of engaging activities on Chennai Day, inviting people to participate and celebrate the city’s diversity and traditions.
- The overarching goal of the campaign was to unite Chennaites in celebrating Chennai’s rich heritage, and culture, and embrace the spirit of togetherness.
